In this Notice, “Regent FE”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Regent Foreign Exchange Limited. “You” means a visitor, customer, prospective customer, authorised user or other person using our website, online portal, emails or digital services.

3. What this Notice covers

For marketing emails, we will comply with PECR and our marketing consent / opt-out controls. We will not use email tracking in a way that is unfair or misleading.

8. Google Analytics and other analytics providers 

We may use Google Analytics or other analytics providers to understand how users use our website and services and to improve performance and usability. 

The use of analytics technologies depends on how they are configured and used. Where analytics technologies are used only to produce aggregate statistical information for improving our website or service, and where applicable law permits, we may rely on the statistical purposes exception and provide a simple way to object. Where analytics technologies involve tracking, profiling, advertising measurement, conversion tracking or other non-exempt purposes, we will seek consent where required before using them. 

You can also find information about Google Analytics controls and browser add-ons through Google’s own materials. This does not replace the need to manage your Regent FE cookie preferences through our cookie banner or preference centre. 

Our CookieHub configuration is intended to prevent Google Analytics cookies from being used before you make a cookie choice or where you select Deny all. Where you select Allow all cookies or accept the relevant analytics category, Google Analytics cookies may be used in accordance with your choice. 

Google advertising or conversion measurement cookies, such as _gcl_au, are treated as marketing / advertising technologies and require consent. 

9. Third-party technologies 

Some technologies may be set by third parties that provide services to Regent FE, such as analytics, hosting, security, payments, customer support, email, fraud prevention, marketing or embedded content providers. 

We are responsible for giving you clear information about the technologies used on our services. Third parties may also process personal data in accordance with their own privacy notices where they act as independent controllers. 

Where we include third-party embedded content, we will seek to configure it in a privacy-friendly way and will provide information or consent controls where required. 

10. Online advertising and tracking 

We will not use advertising, retargeting, cross-site tracking, cross-device tracking, advertising measurement or similar tracking technologies unless this is lawful, transparent and subject to consent where required. 

Our cookie settings tool identifies marketing and advertising technologies that may include Google Ads, Meta Pixel and LinkedIn Insight. These technologies are not enabled before you make a cookie choice and should only be used where you have consented to the relevant category. 

11. Managing your preferences 

You can manage cookies and similar technologies in the following ways: 

• use the CookieHub cookie banner or cookie settings icon on our website; 

• use your browser settings to block or delete cookies; 

• use device-level controls where available; 

• use opt-out tools offered by specific providers where available; and 

• contact us using the details in section 2 if you have questions. 

Blocking all cookies may affect the website or online service. Strictly necessary technologies may still be required for security, login, fraud prevention, compliance, service delivery or remembering your privacy choices. 

12. Personal data and international transfers 

Where cookies and similar technologies involve personal data, we process that personal data in accordance with our Privacy Notice. 

Some providers may process data outside the United Kingdom. Where a restricted international transfer is involved, Regent FE will use a transfer mechanism permitted under UK data protection law, such as an adequacy regulation, the International Data  

Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, binding corporate rules, another approved safeguard or a lawful derogation where applicable. 

Some third-party providers, including analytics and advertising providers, may act as independent controllers for some processing. Their own privacy notices may also apply. 

13. How long technologies last 

Some technologies last only for your browsing session. Others remain on your device for a fixed period or until you delete them. The detailed table in section 7 explains the expected duration of each technology once completed. 

We will not retain information collected through cookies or similar technologies for longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law. 

14. Changes to this Notice 

We may update this Notice from time to time to reflect changes in our website, online services, technologies, providers, cookie settings or legal requirements. The latest version will be made available on our website. 

If we make material changes to how we use cookies or similar technologies, we will update the cookie banner, preference centre or this Notice where appropriate.
