Money Market Guide

Introduction

Regent FE introduces clients to Arda Capital Limited, an FCA-authorised brokerage firm that offers access to Goldman Sachs Money Market Funds (“MMFs”), in order to help clients effectively manage their money.1 These funds aim to provide a competitive return by investing in high-quality, short-term liquid assets.

Eligibility

Regent FE can introduce clients to Arda Capital who qualify as Professional or Elective Professional Clients, subject to the FCA’s classification criteria. A minimum initial investment amount of GBP/EUR/USD 50,000 applies.

For clients that have access to this functionality, the following guide covers how to top-up and withdraw funds from Money Market accounts with Arda Capital.

For clients that do not have access to this functionality, please enquire by contacting [email protected].

How it works

Arda Capital opens an investment account for you directly and arranges subscriptions into MMFs on your behalf when you choose to invest. All required investment disclosures and documentation will be provided by Arda Capital as part of your onboarding.

Regent FE does not execute or arrange your investments but displays your balances for convenience.

Yield Accrual

Once invested, your holdings in MMFs begin generating variable daily yield which is displayed in your Money Market wallets. The applicable yield depends on market conditions and may change over time. You will be notified of any changes via email.

Accessing your Arda Capital Money Market account

Once you have completed onboarding with Arda Capital, your investment in MMFs will be displayed within your Regent FE portal for convenience only.

The platform provides you with the ability to move funds between your payment accounts with Regent FE and your Money Market account with Arda Capital.

To access your Money Market account simply select the Money Market Account tab within your main Accounts page where you will see your GBP, EUR and USD Money Market balances.

Risks and Important Information

Money market funds aim to preserve value, but capital is not guaranteed. The value of your investment may fluctuate, and past performance is not a reliable indicator of future returns.

Once transferred for investment:

  • Funds are no longer safeguarded under the Payment Services or Electronic Money Regulations.
  • Funds become investment assets, held under Arda Capital’s client asset protections (CASS).
